Meet Our Founder
Dr. Nicole Puig, Ph.D., is the Founder and Owner of Next Level Immersion & Prep. A polyglot speaker of 7+ languages, educator with two decades of language teaching experience, and parent of multilingual children, Dr. Puig knows how to successfully reach language goals and teach others to do the same. She loves seeing students grow in their fluency and gain self-confidence for traveling and interacting with native speakers of their language of study.
Dr. Puig is an expert at accent reduction. She has happily been mistaken by native speakers for being a native or heritage speaker of French, Catalan, Swiss German, Portuguese and even Arabic. When teaching language, one of the first concepts she guides her students through is how to approach their own accent reduction, working on the most challenging aspects from the starting perspective of their native language.
Dr. Puig is Cuban-American and lives in Texas (USA) with her family. In her free time, she loves studying new languages, reading, playing piano, and traveling.

Our Beliefs
At Next Level Immersion & Prep we believe that every person should pursue their maximum potential to be bilingual (or multilingual). Everyone can improve their proficiency in a second language.
Moreover, despite the explosion of AI technology, bilingualism is more important than ever, as a crucial element of soft skills needed for our rapidly changing and politicized world.
